Why strength training?
Strength training has multiple health benefits, which include increased muscle mass and bone density over time. This is especially important for people who want to counter the aging process or just lead a higher quality of life. We do this through a process of isolating weaker muscle groups and analyzing movement patterns, we are then able to develop a more complete strength journey to achieve your specific goals. Sometimes the goal is as simple as a push up, a pull up, a full range squat or standing and sitting without assistance.
Who is it for?
We have created the 12 week strength program for anyone who wants to get stronger with the guidance of our expert coaching team. We are passionate about strength and we believe that getting stronger can help achieve your goals whether it be improved body composition, general physical and mental health, sports performance or learning a new skill. If you are confused by all the conflicting information regarding strength training on the internet, are unsure about how to safely and effectively perform the barbell movements or are nervous about stepping in to the gym for the first time without a plan then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What sets us apart?
We have condensed years of experience, gained from 1000s of documented coaching hours, into 12 weeks to help you achieve your strength goals. To top it off, this is delivered at the region's premier strength training facility fully fitted with premium equipment and supported by a team of experienced coaches.
How does it work?
The client commits to training three times a week. Depending on the package you choose, you will either train 3 times per week with your assigned coach, or twice a week with your assigned coach and at least once a week by yourself.

The program starts off with a consultation and a full assessment across 7 key metrics. This is done to set goals and expectations for the next 12 weeks, as well as to design your customized training program. These will be tested again at the end of the 12 weeks so we can accurately measure your progress. The 7 key metrics include:
  • Squat pattern
  • Hip hinge
  • Vertical push
  • Vertical pull
  • Horizontal push
  • Horizontal pull
  • Cardio test
The choice of movements and exercises will be selected based on experience level, and each individual's ability to perform specific movements. 
The packages
All packages include:
  • A 3 month customized training program valued at AED1485 that will be used to share workout plans and track progress.
  • A full 3 month membership to Desert Barbell Sports Club valued at AED 1227 so you can put in extra work if you want and access other Club benefits.
  • A full assessment at the start and end of the program valued at AED 760 so we can accurately measure your results and progress.
The Beginner Package
The Intermediate Package
3 personal training sessions per week
(*total of 36 sessions, valued at AED11 700)
AED 3 660p/m, or
AED 10 620 upfront.
2 personal training sessions per week
(*total of 24 sessions valued at AED7800)
AED 2 520p/m, or
AED 7 440 upfront
*​Sessions are assigned on a weekly basis and must be used in that week or they will be forfeited.

Please note:
  • The personal training sessions are pre-purchased on a 'per week' basis. This means that if you do not use the assigned sessions in a week you will forfeit these sessions. If you are unable to commit to the 12 weeks and require more flexibility, then we suggest opting for traditional PT packages.
  • Payment is required before the first assessment commences.
  • If you opt for monthly payment, you will be required to make the first payment upfront and setup automated billing for the remaining two payments.
  • There is no pause or freeze period for the 3 month membership. The membership will start on first payment date. The membership is nontransferable.
  • Personal training sessions are nontransferable.
