Course details
The level 2 is conducted over 10 weeks, with weekly online lectures. The course consists of two chapters. Once you have successfully completed each module you will receive a certificate of completion and be added to our list of 'Certified Strength Coaches'. The course is accredited for 10CPD points from REPs UAE.
We recommend completing our 'Strength Training Course' before enrolling on the Powerlifting Coaching Course.
Chapter 1: Expanding the Exercise Tool Box
An in-depth discussion surrounding special development and special preparatory exercises for powerlifting. Learn the “how”, “what”, “when” and “why” when it comes to exercise selection so you can produce the strongest powerlifters possible.
Chapter 2: Game-day Coaching for Powerlifting
Learn the rules of the sport of powerlifting (IPF), understand how to properly apply strategy to place as high as possible in competitive meets, discuss attempt selection strategies and rapid weight loss methods to make weight for competition. Learn how to apply the rules and strategy through a variety of meet-day simulations.
